WHY DO I DO GLITTER?I recently rediscovered glitter tattoos while at a henna conference in California 2017. I had no idea that you could draw your own designs as well as use stencils.
I believe glitter tattoos are a way to allow your inner happiness to shine through and catch peoples eye at the same time. It makes you smile and brings sunshine into your day. I've been a henna tattoo artist for the last 18 years. I had a finger design done at a Ren Faire and loved it so decided I wanted to learn more.
Over the years I've developed my own personal art style for free hand designs and while at HennCon in CA I found out I could do more with henna style art using glitter. It's great for all ages and is a lot of fun! |

Stencils and Hand drawn

Many people use only stencils for glitter tattoos. I have a wide selection of stencils that I can use one, two or even three colors in the design. Glitter tattoos are safe for all ages. I use cosmtic grade glue and mirco glitter. The design will typically last 3-5 days depending on where it is applied and how well it's taken care of. However because I'm also a henna artist I can also free hand draw designs. This allows for a more comprehensive design ability to larger coverage and different looks. I can also combine stencils and free hand to make something unique. As shown in the image to the left art looks the same but the end product is different. Glitter looks especially amazing on darker skin colors. |
